Terms of Service
Version and effective date: October 14, 2026
Agreement and eligibility
Separalo is operated by Nottifai LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Separalo," "we," "us"). These Terms govern access to our platform. By accepting them, you agree to this contract. If acting for a business, you confirm authority to bind it. Our Data Processing Agreement forms part of this contract for business customers. Our Privacy Policy explains our data practices.
Users must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement where they live. An adult may arrange a non-clinical appointment for a dependent using the adult's own contact details and remains responsible for managing it. We do not offer accounts to children or request children's personal details.
The platform and business services
Separalo provides non-clinical appointment scheduling and related business tools. Businesses independently provide their services and are responsible for their listings, staff, customer relationships, notices, permissions, service conditions and compliance. Customers contract directly with the relevant business for the appointment. Separalo does not provide, supervise or guarantee that underlying service.
Businesses must make applicable service, cancellation and refund conditions available before booking and honor applicable consumer rights. Contact the business about appointment fulfillment or disputes; contact Separalo about the platform.
Permitted use and accounts
Keep account information accurate and credentials secure, and notify us of suspected misuse. You are responsible for activity you authorize and for having the rights and permissions necessary to provide information or content to the platform.
Do not use Separalo for unlawful, deceptive, abusive or infringing activity, clinical care or patient information, or processing sensitive information that the platform is not designed to support. Do not submit medical records, government identifiers, financial-account credentials or children's personal information. Do not interfere with security, access another party's data without permission, distribute malicious content, or misuse communications or platform resources. These examples do not limit the general restrictions.
We may investigate reports, restrict content or access, and suspend or terminate use reasonably necessary to address violations, legal obligations or security risks. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. We do not promise to detect every misuse.
Fees, subscriptions and cancellation
Stripe processes payments for Separalo subscriptions. The price, currency, taxes, billing interval and any trial are shown before purchase. A paid subscription renews for the disclosed interval unless canceled. You authorize the recurring charges you accept at checkout. A trial that requires no payment method ends without a paid subscription if no payment method is provided; if you authorize a payment method and conversion, the disclosed charges begin at trial end.
Manage billing and cancel through the subscription controls in your dashboard, which open Stripe's customer portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period; access continues until then. Contact support if you cannot cancel through the portal. Except where required by law, paid fees are non-refundable for unused portions of a billing period. Contact us about duplicate or incorrect charges. We will disclose material price changes before they apply to a renewal.
Subscription fees are separate from the appointment payments described below. WhatsApp messaging is not included in the current service. Future features may have additional terms disclosed before use.
Appointment payments for businesses
A business can accept online payments from its customers for appointments through Separalo, such as deposits, full prepayment and no-show fees. Payment processing services for businesses on Separalo are provided by Stripe. During Stripe onboarding, the business accepts the Stripe Services Agreement directly with Stripe. Payment processing through Separalo is also subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Together these are the "Stripe agreements." By enabling payments or continuing to accept payments through Separalo, you agree to be bound by the Stripe agreements, as Stripe may modify them from time to time. As a condition of Separalo enabling payment processing through Stripe, you agree to provide Separalo and Stripe accurate and complete information about you and your business. You authorize Separalo to share that information, and transaction information related to your use of Stripe's payment processing, with Stripe. Stripe verifies your account and decides whether to enable, restrict or close it. Stripe processes your information as described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.
The business is the seller and merchant of record for every appointment payment. Payments are charged on the business's own Stripe account and appear under its name, and Stripe pays them out to the business under the Stripe agreements. Separalo does not hold appointment funds and is not a party to the sale between the business and its customer. You authorize Separalo to create payments, saved-card setups, no-show fees and refunds on your Stripe account according to your payment settings and these Terms. The business is responsible for its prices, taxes, legally required receipts or invoices, customer service, disputes and chargebacks, and the laws that apply to its sales.
Stripe charges its processing fees to the business's Stripe account under the Stripe agreements. Separalo also charges a platform fee on each appointment payment made through Separalo. The platform fee is a percentage of the amount charged. Stripe deducts it from the payment and sends it to Separalo. It is in addition to any Separalo subscription. Your rate is shown in your payment settings before you connect Stripe, and Separalo may set a different rate for a particular business. Before you connect Stripe, Separalo asks you to accept the current version of these Terms and records that acceptance with the rate shown. We will give at least 30 days' notice before we increase your rate. Each booking uses the rate in effect when the customer books, including for a no-show fee charged later.
Separalo refunds a payment from the business's Stripe account when the business cancels the appointment before its scheduled start. Separalo also refunds it when the customer cancels online with at least the notice required by the cancellation policy shown at booking, if that policy refunds cancellations. If no cancellation policy was shown at booking, the notice in the business's settings at the time of the cancellation applies, and Separalo does not refund that cancellation. A customer cannot cancel online once less than that notice remains before the appointment. If the customer then does not attend, the appointment is a no-show. When a payment is refunded through Separalo, we return our platform fee in proportion to the amount refunded. Separalo does not refund payments for no-shows, and keeps its platform fee on those payments. A business may issue other refunds from its Stripe account under its own policy, but Separalo returns its platform fee only on refunds made through Separalo. Stripe's processing fees on refunded payments are governed by the Stripe agreements and are generally not returned. Separalo does not return its platform fee on disputed payments.
Before accepting payments, the business must state in its cancellation policy on Separalo any deposit or prepayment it requires, the minimum notice a customer must give to cancel online, whether it refunds cancellations made with that notice, and any no-show fee. Separalo also shows these amounts to the customer before booking. The business must apply its policy as published. A business may charge a no-show fee only once per appointment, only up to the amount shown to the customer at booking, and only when the customer neither attended nor canceled. The no-show fee is capped at the service price minus any deposit or prepayment already kept for that appointment, so it is never charged on top of a full prepayment for the same appointment. The business must mark the no-show within 72 hours after the appointment's scheduled end. After that deadline, the business can no longer start a no-show charge. A charge started before the deadline may still complete after it, including through a payment link that stays valid for up to 23 hours when the customer's bank requires authentication. Once every appointment that shares the saved card is completed, canceled or past its deadline, and any pending fee has resolved, Separalo asks Stripe to remove the card from the business's Stripe account, which can take some time.
Appointment payments through Stripe are currently available only to businesses located in the United States, in US dollars. They are not available to businesses located in Colombia, because Stripe Connect card payments are not available for Colombian accounts. Businesses that cannot use appointment payments continue to collect them directly, outside Separalo. Any expansion to other countries depends on Stripe. We may pause payment features for a business if Stripe restricts its account or if we reasonably suspect fraud or a violation of these Terms.
Paying for an appointment
Some businesses ask for a payment or a card when you book. Before you confirm, the booking page shows the amount, whether it is a deposit or the full price, any no-show fee, and the business's cancellation policy. You pay the business, not Separalo. The business is the merchant, the charge appears under its name, and Stripe processes the payment for the business. Your card details go directly to Stripe. Separalo does not receive or store full card numbers.
If the business cancels your appointment before its scheduled start, you get a refund of what you paid for it. If you cancel online with at least the notice required by the cancellation policy shown when you booked, you also get a refund if that policy offers refunds. If no cancellation policy was shown when you booked, the notice in the business's settings at the time you cancel applies, and you do not get a refund for your own cancellation. Once less than that notice remains before the appointment, you cannot cancel online. If you then do not attend, the appointment is a no-show and you do not get a refund. Refunds go back to the original payment method, and your bank decides how long they take to appear.
If a business requires a card to hold your booking, you authorize the business, through Stripe, to save your card and to charge it later, without asking you again, for the no-show fee shown at booking. The business can charge that fee only if you neither attend nor cancel the appointment, and only once. The fee is never more than the service price minus any deposit or prepayment already kept for that appointment. Your card is not charged when you book unless the business also asks for a deposit or prepayment. The business uses the saved card only for that booking. The business must mark the no-show within 72 hours after the appointment's scheduled end. After that deadline, the business can no longer start a no-show charge. A charge started before the deadline may still complete after it. Once every appointment that shares your saved card is completed, canceled or past its deadline, and any pending fee has resolved, Separalo asks Stripe to remove your card from the business's Stripe account. This can take some time. If a no-show fee is charged, we email you a receipt. If your bank requires extra authentication for the charge, we email you a link to complete the payment, and the link stays valid for up to 23 hours.
The business decides whether a booking was a no-show. If you think a charge is wrong, contact the business first. You keep your rights under the law and with your card issuer, including the right to dispute a charge.
Data, content and ending service
You retain your rights in submitted content and grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, display and transmit it to provide and secure the service. Business branding and listings are public. We do not acquire ownership of your customer data.
Booking history is generally retained for 12 months after the appointment. When a subscription ends, a 30-day export window normally precedes deletion of business operational data. Verified earlier deletion requests, documented legal holds and required records are handled as described in the Privacy Policy and DPA. Canceling billing and deleting an account are separate operations. Contact support for account closure and privacy requests. Do not rely on Separalo as a permanent records archive.
Intellectual property and third parties
Separalo and its licensors retain rights in the platform and its technology. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive right to use it under these Terms. You must have rights to any content you submit. Report infringement or misuse to support. Third-party services are subject to their own terms and availability; we remain responsible for our obligations under applicable law and this agreement.
Availability and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free results or fitness for a particular purpose. We may change or discontinue features and will give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable. We are not responsible for failures outside our reasonable control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable under this agreement for indirect or consequential losses. Separalo's aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of USD 100 or the subscription and platform fees you paid us in the preceding 12 months. These exclusions do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Business customers will indemnify Separalo against third-party claims arising from their unlawful use, infringing content or breach of their obligations, to the extent caused by them. This does not cover Separalo's own misconduct or non-excludable obligations. We will provide reasonable notice and cooperation and will not agree to a settlement imposing obligations on you without your consent.
Disputes, mandatory rights and changes
Contact support first so we can try to resolve a dispute. Texas law governs this agreement, subject to mandatory protections that apply in your jurisdiction. Subject to those protections and legally available forums, disputes may be brought in the competent courts of Denton County, Texas. These Terms do not require arbitration or waive rights that cannot legally be waived.
Nothing here excludes mandatory consumer or data-protection rights, including applicable Colombian withdrawal, refund and complaint rights. A business purchase does not automatically qualify as a consumer transaction; applicable rights depend on the transaction and law. Any invalid provision is severable. These Terms and incorporated agreements govern the platform relationship; mandatory law prevails in a conflict. Neither translation is intended to reduce rights provided by the other.
We will notify users of material changes through the service or email before they take effect where required. Where renewed acceptance is necessary, we will request it. We will not treat updated wording as retroactive authorization for unrelated data uses.
