When keeping Phorest makes sense
Keep Phorest if you use its retail stock, loyalty points or payment tools and want them in one account. Those tasks may justify a higher fee than a booking calendar.
Starter, Grow, Ultimate and Elite allow unlimited staff and devices. Starter also includes payment links. Grow adds digital consultation forms before appointments or at booking; Ultimate adds a branded booking app for iOS and Android.
Request a quote separating subscription, SMS, processing, hardware and training. Check the contract and data retention before giving up those tools.
What to check in Separalo
- Publish consultations and color services with their full durations. Separalo does not open slots for another client during processing. The buffer between appointments applies to the whole business.
- Check services, hours, email verification, optional approval and booking changes on a phone.
- Optional email reminders arrive around the day before eligible appointments. There is no automatic SMS or WhatsApp, or Google Calendar or Outlook sync.
- Payments, deposits, inventory, consent records, package or membership balances and team commissions need other tools. Internal notes do not replace consent. There is no branded booking app in the stores. You can register businesses in Colombia and the United States.

Move appointments and retain records
- Set up the menu, team, hours and buffer. Check a booking before announcing the switch.
- Export available data and copy upcoming appointments by hand. Keep forms, gift-card balances, packages and payments separately. Separalo does not import them.
- Close new bookings in the old system. Reconcile changes and cancellations before publishing the link.
- Update Instagram, your website and QR codes. Cancel the old system after settling obligations and retaining the records you need.
